A new addres for visual arts

  Madeleine Metsaars and Peter van den Akker
  Two visual artists, who found a new place to live and work in a
  former super market. This elongated building enabled them to
  realise their dream of combining living and working in one building
  In Juli 1998 they set to work, with the help of a contractor, to
  convert the huge store into a new living space and two studios,
  and  renovate the top floors into offices and sleeping floors. To
  get more
  light into the building, doors and windows were put into the long
  blind sidewall at three places; the steel shopfront was renovated,
  and skylights were placed in the roof over the studios and
  exhibition space.
